NRI North America is seeking a qualified Computer Support Technician to join an elite professional services organization.
We have opportunities available at many of our Suffolk County locations. We are seeking a full-time (5-days per week) resource capable of performing IT support activities. The resource will be responsible for working directly with our K-12 clients including students, staff, and school district administrators.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of technical support experience, education, and/or certifications, along with a desire to learn and motivation to excel in a customer service-centric environment.
We are looking for team-oriented performers with outstanding work ethics, excellent written abilities, and a solid communication foundation interacting with all levels.
Knowledge and Skills
· Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
· Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Windows and macOS environments.
· Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) is preferred.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL)
This position is NOT remote. You will be required to report to the worksite daily on Long Island.
