Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced on-site IT Support Technician to join our team. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems. They will work closely with employees to solve technical problems and manage IT-related tasks across the organization.
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person to employees.
Assist with password resets for email and other accounts.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
Install and troubleshoot printers.
Install and configure software and hardware.
Manage IT equipment inventory and software licenses.
Monitor and maintain network equipment.
Document and track customer support requests.
Assist with setting up internet, cable, and phone services in residential homes.
Assist with managing a Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, Teams and Exchange.
Maintain and update websites.
Perform other IT-related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
60 credit hours toward a related Bachelor's Degree, or
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or
High School Diploma or GED/HiSET, and two years of experience in computer systems, repairs, and operations.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of IT security principles and patch management best practices.
Exceptional customer service and documentation skills.
In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft update technologies.
Strong communication abilities and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting the installation of Microsoft and third-party software updates.
Ability to respond to changing schedules and priorities.
Ability to work well independently and as part of the team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.
Working knowledge of computer security systems and procedures.
Working knowledge of computer networking and telecommunications, especially IPv4.
Ability to lift computer and printer equipment up to 50lbs.
Ability to safely use ladders up to 12 feet in height. This includes proper set up, stability maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
Ability to travel, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
