We’re Looking for an ‘A’ Player
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support and Security Manager to oversee all aspects of IT support and security for our rapidly growing SaaS company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations, maintaining SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, and safeguarding data integrity across the organization. This person will be the go-to person for all IT-related matters, supporting a growing team of approximately 75 employees who primarily use Macbooks and GSuite applications.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the company equipment from new hires to everyday needs; tracking all computer’s lifecycles, ordering new equipment, setting up all new hire computer systems, creating accounts and managing all new/existing accounts.
- IT Support Management; Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Security Management; Ensure the company meets and maintains SOC 2 Type 2 compliance requirements.
- Software and System Administration; Manage and support the company's software subscriptions and IT infrastructure, including Macbooks, servers, and cloud services, including access management.
- Data Integrity and Backup; Ensure data integrity through regular backups, data recovery procedures, and data loss prevention strategies.
- Vendor and Contract Management; Liaise with external vendors and service providers.
- Cost Management; Work with Finance on Software and IT spend tracking and optimization.
- Training and Development; Conduct training sessions for employees on IT policies, best practices, and security awareness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years experience in IT support and security roles.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Proven experience with SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and IT security.
- Experience working with Information Technology operational processes, customer support processes, and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of Mac OS and GSuite administration.
- Working knowledge of a variety of technologies and platforms (operating systems, computer hardware, and software).
- Experience with endpoint management tools and software.
- High-level customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and perform multiple tasks with multiple deadlines, responding quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work and think independently to troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
