IT Support Technician Generalist

River Oaks is seeking a Part-time, proactive, versatile, detail-oriented and motivated IT Generalist to support our organization’s technology infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and problem-solver with a broad skill set across various IT disciplines, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

IT Support: 

•   Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, VOIP desk phones, and Microsoft 365. 
•   Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported problems promptly. 
•   Update support ticket with relevant resolution details.

Software Management: 

•   Install, configure, and update software applications.

Documentation: 

•   Create or maintain detailed records of IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps. 
•   Create or maintain user guides, best practices, or documentation for internal use.

Project Assistance: 

•   Support other IT-related projects as needed. 
•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
•   Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively 
•   Proven experience as an IT generalist or support technician 
•   Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues 
•   Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 desktop and Windows 2019/2022 server environments 
•   Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) 
•   Microsoft 365 – Office, Teams, OneDrive 

Preferred Qualifications: 

•   Experience with Avigilon security cameras and software 
•   Experience with RingCentral  
•   Experience with Jonas Club Management 

Work Environment: 

•   Onsite, M-F 9am-5pm 
•   Part-time scheduling will be flexible
