Position Overview: Biggs Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Support and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role combines end-user support, systems maintenance (including monthly patching), and occasional network troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with broad technical knowledge and a hands-on approach to IT operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support across hardware, software, and network systems
  • Help evaluate, implement, and manage a patch management system. Collaborate on system improvements and documentation
  • Support network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and configuration tasks
  • Assist with administrative, technical IT tasks and routine server maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Associate or Bachelor in IT preferred)
  • Extensive and diverse knowledge in IT support and system troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and hardware (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing patch management tools (e.g., Intune, PDQ, NinjaOne, etc.)



Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration
  • Experience in supporting network infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments and system update processes
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA (CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+)
