Position Summary:
The Project Manager-IT Support position is responsible for leading projects while also providing IT support. This role combines project management skills with technical knowledge to ensure successful implementation of IT initiatives, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. The Project Manager-IT Support partners with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable problem-solver with a stronger understanding of both operational and technical processes. 


Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Coordinate with all department's seamless communication between the sales, marketing, reservation team, and IT.
    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Conduct project evaluations and recommend process improvements.
    • Communicate project updates to stakeholders, leadership, and end-users.
    • Manage vendor relationships to ensure requirements are met and project deadlines stay on track.  
    • Facilitate decision-making and gather input from daily users of the current systems helping to translate those needs into clear requirements for the new system.
    • Oversee the creation of documentation and training materials for new system, ensuring a smooth transition for employees. 
    • Maintain business operations and castle operations with a particular focus on the front-of-house activities that operate 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
  • Technical and Operational Support/Systems Administration: 
    • Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Train users on IT tools, applications, and security best practices.
    • Monitor system performance, ensuring up time, data integrity, and security.
    • Ensure the security and integrity of all technical systems and data.
    • Coordinate with external service providers for maintenance, inspections, permitting, and repairs.
    • Document technical processes, system changes, and project outcomes.
  • Operational Flexibility: 
    • Maintain a broad understanding of winery operations to provide temporary support in various roles as needed.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: 
    • As these requirements will overlap with existing departments, work to facilitate information sharing and assist as needed to keep the information updated.
Requirements

 Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on technical execution. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or related field (bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of combined project management and technical support experience.
  • Experience in the winery, hospitality, or manufacturing industries is a plus.

This is a full-time non-exempt role. The hourly rate is $24 to $32 per hour (DOE).
