Digital Consultants is seeking a Junior AV Maintenance/Helpdesk Technician to join our team! As the Junior AV Maintenance/Helpdesk Technician, you will be a principal performer and assist in the performance of diagnostic and repair services while performing Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs), repairs, installations, and troubleshooting for equipment or systems.


Duties to include: 

  • Perform PMIs on AV equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues before they become critical
  • Respond immediately to helpdesk tickets related to AV equipment issues and provide timely support to clients
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV equipment and systems
  • Install AV equipment and systems as per industry and client specifications
  • Terminate all types of AV connections, both analog and digital
  • Maintain trouble tickets and keep accurate logs of all repairs, installations, and maintenance activities 
  • Assist in the performance of Repair Services 
  • Maintain inventories of installed and spare parts and equipment 
  • Handle the complexity of Maintenance issues 
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant or similar role
  • Clearance: Secret 
  • Certifications: Avixa CTS or CAVT 
  • The contractor shall provide help desk support to receive emails or phone calls for equipment failure and notification of system disruptions 
  • The help desk shall be operational on-site from 6:00am to 6:00pm ET, Monday through Friday (except holidays). Help desk personnel shall provide responses to audio-visual operational inquiries and requests. 
  • The ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights up to 30 feet
