Position Description:

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's computer systems. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting hardware and software components, providing technical assistance to employees, and implementing security measures to protect our organization's IT infrastructure. You will work independently and collaboratively to diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring that employees have access to the resources they need to perform their tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and other related equipment.
  • Support, test, and resolve computer and peripheral problems.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain printers, copiers, and conference room technologies.
  • Maintain equipment and supply inventories to ensure availability as needed.
  • Apply and update local computer and security policies.
  • Provide technical support to employees in person, by phone, and by email, responding to their requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to help the IT Team achieve its objectives.
  • Document and inform operational activities.
  • Analyze data to identify or resolve operational problems.
  • Implement security measures for computer or information systems.
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Basic Knowledge in Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software, including operating systems, network protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing time, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure office environment.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.


Education & Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent certifications, with specialization in Information Systems or related area.
  • Minimum of (1) year of experience in a technical support role or related field.
