DescriptionAs the IT Support Technician, you’ll provide first‑line technical support to internal and external users across multiple business lines and office locations. Working as part of a small but highly effective team, you’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, deliver dependable customer service, and maintain clear documentation within our support systems. Occasional travel (approximately 10%) is required.
What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly to help desk tickets, phone calls, and emails.
- Troubleshoot common IT issues, including:
- Password resets and account access
- Printer setup and connectivity
- Application errors and software usage
- Perform basic hardware diagnostics and repairs (desktops, laptops, peripherals).
- Assist with basic networking tasks such as connectivity checks and cable management.
- Document all support activities within the ticketing system.
- Provide on‑site support at external locations when required.
- Apply and uphold information security best practices.
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of Help Desk or Technical Support experience.
- Strong understanding of IT fundamentals and troubleshooting methods.
- Familiarity with desktop support in a Windows environment.
- Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
