Leave Replacement - IT Support Specialist

General Description:

To ensure the efficient operation and full utilization of district technology assets through
preventive maintenance, installation, and repair, and to provide all staff with technical support
and troubleshooting resources to sustain an effective digital environment.

 Qualifications:

• An Associate's Degree in a Computer Related Field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Windows/Apple/Chrome operating systems and software.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Minimum three years experience in troubleshooting and repairing Windows, Apple, and Chrome hardware/software and peripherals preferred.
• A+ certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a school environment.
• Valid driver's license with vehicle in good operating condition.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Reports to:

 Director of Technology

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance on technology equipment and/or arranges for servicing of equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Works cooperatively with district personnel towards the full utilization of technology assets.
• Sets up, troubleshoots, and repairs devices and peripherals as needed both on site and remotely.
• Performs responsibilities independently, including transporting equipment from site to site.
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots hardware and software.
• Serves as a resource person to district personnel for computer technology.
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Technology.

Salary: 

• $200 per day

Benefits: Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits)
