It Support Specialist job

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and network resources. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues.

Install, configure, and maintain computers, operating systems, and applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.

Set up user accounts, passwords, and email access.

Assist with system updates, security patches, and antivirus protection.

Document support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.

Previous IT support or help desk experience is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
