Key Responsibilities:

  • Tech Troubleshooter: Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, providing quick solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Preventative StrategistProactively recommend actions to prevent network and software issues, ensuring a robust IT environment.
  • Hands-On Support: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of customer hardware and software, ranging from simple to moderately complex.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with IT service vendors and suppliers while managing projects effectively.
  • Inventory Managment: Oversee IT support agreements, maintain inventory, and manage leasing of IT equipment, including shopping carts for procurement.
  • Asset Management: Implement asset tagging and manage the surplus of IT equipment to optimize resources.
  • Website Maintenance: Take charge of maintaining the agency website, ensuring it is up to date.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems. A degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Comments

Employment in this position will be contingent upon the following:

  • The starting salary for this position will be $57,000.00 - $59,915.00, depending upon experience.
  • An acceptable review of your past employment history, personal references, and other sources, including, but not limited to, the criminal reference check which will be conducted by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
