Felix Construction is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide in-person and remote support to our staff in the Phoenix office and Arizona job sites, along with remote support for the Dallas office and field staff. The Support Specialist will ensure our tools, devices, and systems operate smoothly, supporting our IT group’s mission to build better lives through secure, reliable, and innovative technology.  This role requires a professional who is a critical thinker, is results-oriented, has a passion for customer service, and has a strong sense of urgency and focus.  This team member must also be technically savvy, patient, a good coach, and relatable.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Technical Support: Independently provide in-person support for Phoenix office staff and Arizona jobsites, and remote support for jobsites, Dallas office staff, and remote workers.
  • Systems Management: Support users across various systems, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Trimble Viewpoint Vista ERP, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Cloud, and additional business applications and SAAS applications as well as executing software updates and application patching.
  • Device Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot company devices such as laptops, tablets, phones, AV equipment, and printers/scanners.
  • User Onboarding/Offboarding: Set up and onboard new employees with the necessary hardware, software, and security permissions and licenses as well as offboarding former employees by collecting and cataloging IT equipment and removing security permissions and licenses.
  • Incident Response: Address and resolve technical issues efficiently, logging and tracking tickets for continuous improvement.  Provide documentation of the response measures taken and create/update SOPs as needed.
  • Compliance: Monitor and document compliance of IT and data security policies.
  • Work Locations: The majority of the work will be performed in the Phoenix office with occasional local travel required to Phoenix-area jobsites and infrequent trips to the Dallas office/jobsites.


Who You Are:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or 12 months+ equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, remote support tools, and device troubleshooting and management.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and mobile device management (MDM).
  • Familiarity with multifunction printers/scanners, conference room AV systems, and device troubleshooting.
  • Valid driver’s license required with a good driving record for local travel to jobsites.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability and patience to support non-technical users.
  • Reliability, adaptability, and professionalism, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
  • Willingness to ask questions and seek direction.
  • Work and collaborate with others from other work areas.
