Job Description:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing technical support to our employees and clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining our network infrastructure, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees and clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other office equipment.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of new equipment and software applications.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform regular system updates and backups.
- Document technical procedures and solutions.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers.
- Experience with network management and administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair IT hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid trouble shooting skills.
- Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Current driver’s license.
- Reliably functioning vehicle.
- Vehicle insurance.
- Working hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Travel to the office for various purposes (daily during training).
