We are seeking a dependable, service-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide frontline technical support across our retirement community campus. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys helping people and wants to develop their skills in a mission-driven organization.
You will support staff and residents in administrative offices, healthcare areas, dining, and residential spaces while helping maintain secure, reliable technology systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 help desk support for computers, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking issues
- Install and maintain Windows workstations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems
- Assist with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
- Support phone systems and audiovisual equipment
- Assist with Active Directory user accounts
- Maintain printers and multi-function devices
- Help support healthcare software systems and secure system access
- Document troubleshooting steps and assist with cybersecurity best practices
This is a full-time hourly position. Expected hours of work are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional evening/weekend needs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and networking fundamentals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
- Experience with Active Directory, printers, or healthcare/senior living technology preferred
