Summary: This position is responsible for responding to service requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, and telecommunications systems, and creating and maintaining various accounts for both store and corporate use.

Essential functions of the role that can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain system documentation to ensure security compliance.
• Provide timely assistance to users.
• Assist with new device setup and software installation, including computers, laptops, and tablets
• Order, ship, and track hardware devices throughout all levels of the organization
• Create and manage user accounts, including password management and account deletions as needed
• Troubleshoot email system issues and other software support needs
• Assist with collaboration tools (Office 365) administration and support
• Provide troubleshooting support for store VOIP phones and related telecom software and accounts
• Develop IT training documents and solutions; assist in the design, structure, or improvement of existing self-help articles and user guides
• Monitor the IT service request ticketing system, identify patterns and areas for improvement, and reduce repeated requests
• Assist with inter-departmental projects and strategic IT initiatives on an as-needed basis
• Support software, hardware, and process change improvements for end users
• Participate in the off-hours on-call rotation (nights and weekends)

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• Associate’s degree or trade school certification with a minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Information Technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to connect with staff members via telephone, screen share, or video call to provide effective troubleshooting support
• Experience working in a remote hybrid environment across multiple states and time zones
• Previous support experience in a Microsoft Hybrid environment
• Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to work independently as well as in groups.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with a diverse system of remote hardware devices and software platforms.
• Ability to multitask and complete projects within a specific timeframe.
• Aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving.

Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Work Hours: In a typical week, this position requires a minimum of 40 hours with regular and predictable attendance. Will include occasional weekend and after business hours work.
Work Environment: This work is usually performed indoors in an office environment with normal noise levels and no exposure to hazardous conditions. Employees in this position are required to reside in a state where SAM is registered to conduct business.
