Job Description

Print Support Specialist
Nashville, TN (onsite)
3+ Months Contract (temp to perm)
M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Qualifications

  • Client is seeking a dedicated Print Support Specialist I to provide daily on-site support for network and workstation printer devices at Ascension Health facilities. This role focuses on delivering exceptional technical support and customer service, ensuring service level agreements are met, and maintaining hardware, consumables, and fleet inventories. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with printer hardware, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    Responsibilities
    • Provide daily support for site-specific network and workstation printers.
    • Respond to customer support requests and resolve issues quickly, accurately, and professionally.
    • Escalate complex problems to the appropriate technician or Integrated Account Manager as needed.
    • Communicate progress and updates to end users throughout the resolution process.
    • Provide end users with remote access assistance and document complete troubleshooting information.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of all service calls and requests in the tracking system (TRAC Solution).
    • Provide regular account updates, including fleet status and performance, to management.
    • Manage on-site hardware and consumables inventory, including hot-swap supplies.
    • Assist with printer hardware procurement as required.
    • Document and report all fleet meter reads and maintain fleet tools and databases.

    Requirements
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
    • IT Help Desk or technical support experience (hardware and application support).
    • Technical training and/or certifications related to printers (e.g., HP certifications).
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Strong technical knowledge of network printers and related hardware.
    • Good organizational and task prioritization skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Driving required; travel between multiple locations may be necessary.
    • Business casual dress code.

Additional Information

Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
