Job Description
Cintas is currently looking for an Information Security Analyst-Level 2 for the Operations Team within IT Security. This position will have a heavy focus on threat hunting and threat intelligence. The Information Security Analyst-Level 2 is responsible for: performing analysis of logs, vulnerability information, Indicators of attack(IOAs) and/or Indicators of Compromise(IOCs); reviewing sources of threat feeds/intelligence; assisting in organizational maturity assessments and initiatives; working collaboratively with internal and external IT resources to reduce cyber vulnerabilities; supporting security reviews of existing and proposed systems; providing occasional after hours and weekend support; communicating with multiple levels of management; and attending technology conferences and seminars when relevant to current position or specialty area.
Skills/Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting operational IT security requirements or equivalent security training/education
- Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing information / data security tools, such antivirus, intrusion detection systems, monitoring and log review/analysis, and vulnerability management tools / process
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting or leading Threat Intelligence components i.e. (use case development, OSINT, threat intel curation and dissemination, basic threat modeling and threat hunting) required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience creating scripts (e.g., Python) to pull evidence data
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks
- Knowledge of Mitre Att&ck Framework
- Experience with Threat Hunting tools and techniques
