The Snohomish School District is seeking CyberPatriot Cybersecurity Camp Teachers. Up two (2) positions are available.
General Description: Under the direction of the summer-school principal, the CyberPatriot Camp Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering engaging and educational sessions focused on cybersecurity principles and practices, specifically tailored for the CyberPatriot competition. This role involves establishing clear learning objectives, preparing and delivering instructional materials, and guiding students in hands-on activities to enhance their understanding of secure system administration and cyber defense. Knowledge of the Linux operating system is useful. The instructor will foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment, providing guidance, supervision, and constructive feedback to students. See attached job description for details.
Job Summary: July 21, 2025 to July 24, 2025 (1 week), 4 hours/day Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Rate of Pay: $43/hour. Hourly certificated rate as per SEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Required Endorsement: Endorsement as Computer Science
Required Training: Must attend CyberPatriot Cybersecurity curriculum training prior to the start of classes, approximately 5 hours.
