Job Description- Roles and responsibilities

A Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to legal standards, regulations and internal policies. The Compliance/Audit Analyst will be responsible for conducting internal audits, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, developing and implementing corrective action plans, and providing training to employees on compliance matters. They are expected to be well-versed in legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices. A successful candidate should possess a strong knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.Β  The Compliance Analyst must also facilitate communication with various departments and provide counsel on compliance matters, maintaining the integrity and ethical standards of the institution.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

  • Conduct comprehensive audits utilizing QuickBase, external databases and contract documentation.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and program managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics
  • Execute regular audits to proactively identify and address potential compliance weaknesses.
  • Foster interdepartmental and interagency collaboration to maintain alignment and adherence to standards.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Will participate in all staff meetings
  • Will send bi-weekly reports to the Program Manager
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the database
  • Responsible for the upkeep of digital and physical files
  • Responsible for reporting back to direct supervisor the finding of the current audits.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Β 

Minimum of 1 year experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or quality assurance role.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook applications.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
