A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for the delivery of supportive patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse/Imaging or Special Diagnostics staff. A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for assisting the staff in the provision of patient care and tending to the unit needs as assigned by the staff .
EDUCATION:
Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Previous healthcare experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
American Heart Association BLS
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively and multitask; excellent listening skills; courteous and empathetic demeanor.
