What is a Technology Quality & Compliance Analyst?
The Office of the CIO (OCIO) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality and Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting IT Policy Management, Knowledge Management, Performance Measurement, and Reporting capabilities. This includes developing, reviewing and maintaining Technology documentation encompassing policies, standards, procedures and knowledgebase articles that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This role will also support the measurement, analysis and reporting of Technology performance metrics across systems, services and teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Technology initiatives are in compliance with departmental documentation and align with organizational goals and performance metrics. This role also assists in coordinating and preparing departmental and regulatory reports on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.
What does a Technology Quality & Compliance Analyst do?
Researches, drafts, reviews and maintains Technology policies, standards, procedures and knowledgebase articles in alignment with industry standards and applicable laws and regulations, while enabling desired corporate performance outcomes
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess technology documentation needs and incorporate feedback
Ensures documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and written in a clear, user-friendly format
Ensures documentation provides the right information, in the proper format, at the right level and released in a timely manner to meet stakeholders’ needs
Monitors and assess effectiveness and compliance with policies, standards and procedures
Maintains a technology documentation repository and ensures version control and accessibility
Facilitates communication and training to ensure compliance with technology documentation and awareness initiatives across the organization
Documents and standardizes performance measurement methodologies around Policy and Knowledge Management as well as other Technology areas
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build performance metrics that align to organizational goals and objectives
Provides support for the development of Technology regulatory engagements including performing data analyses or coordinating the compilation of information from various IT subject matter experts to draft the Technology Department’s testimony. Track and report progress on achieving rate case approved initiatives
Prepare or coordinate the preparation of presentations, dashboards and reports in an efficient manner for senior leadership and stakeholders
Provides support for storm restoration efforts
What does it take to be a Technology Quality & Compliance Analyst?
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Business or a related field and related IT experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, candidates with an associate’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 3+ years of related IT experience will be considered.

Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Business or a related field
Work experience in IT GRC, IT Performance Management, and/or IT Quality Management
Experience working in a Regulated Utility and / or a regulated industry environment.
Familiarity with industry frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL / ITSM, ISO, PMBOK, NIST, SWOT) and regulatory standards.
Familiarity with SharePoint, GRC tools, ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira) and data visualization tools (e.g. Excel, PowerBI)
One or more of the following certifications: CISA, CRISC, CGEIT
