Position Summary

The primary role of the Sr. IT Compliance Analyst is internal control testing, auditing and monitoring, and risk management and mitigation. This role will work to identify risk and ensure compliance with industry standards, relevant laws and regulations, and industry best practices. This position also assists in maintaining and developing appropriate policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain compliance with established, as well as new controls. Reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns within the organization.

Regular Duties

  • Manage quarterly and annual IT testing for internal and external audits, risk assessments, and policy compliance.
  • Lead preparation for quarterly and annual IT testing activities.
  • Conduct IT Compliance training sessions to prepare for IT assessments.
  • Collaborate with leadership on compliance-related concerns and present findings and suggestions to them.
  • Ensure prompt turnarounds by supporting internal and external audit requests.
  • Inform others about IT issues and shortcomings to ensure that remedial action plans are in place.
  • Develop IT documentation for IT internal controls in consultation with IT, including IT process narratives, process flows, and documented control actions.
  • Establish and sustain governance tools for risk and compliance to support IT compliance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the IT frameworks by helping IT control owners implement and validate controls for the processes of access management, release management, change management, and vendor management.
  • Work with control owners to ensure controls are actively managed and monitored throughout the year.
  • Mentor more youthful members of the IT Compliance staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, information technology, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years related technical and professional experience, preferably in process manufacturing industry.
  • Project management experience. 
  • Must be able to organize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Must have strong leadership skills.
  • Individuals must possess strong analytical skills and have the capacity to make sound decisions.
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate complex issues with all levels of employees and management.
  • Must have a strong interest / understanding of systems and end-to-end business processes and be able to perform business process control definitions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Essential Functions

  • Proficient oral and written skills
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must have manual dexterity needed to type on a computer keyboard.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
  • Occasional travel required to meet at the corporate headquarters, plant, customer, and vendor sites.
  • Must be able to work effectively remotely and in a plant environment.
