The Company's integrated approach uses its proprietary technology to provide automotive lidar sensors and solutions for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and for non-automotive applications including industrial, smart infrastructure and robotics. The Company has been leveraging its experience building augmented reality micro-display engines, interactive display modules, and consumer lidar modules.  

To strengthen our team at the Redmond location, we are looking for a Security Analyst.
$90,000 - $130,000 a year

Pay:
The pay range for this Washington-based position is $90,000 –$130,000.  Exact compensation offers will vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for a new hire equity grant and/or a performance-based equity incentive plan.
 
Summary:
A hands-on technical role responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security solutions. This role will serve as our internal technical point of contact for security operations. The Security Analyst will work closely with security operations to triage alerts, implement remediation actions, and ensure secure system configurations across our environment.
 
Your responsibilities:
 
·       Collaborate with Silent Breach during incident investigations and response.
·       Coordinate internal remediation efforts (patching, reconfiguration, user management).
·       Maintain secure configurations on endpoints, servers, and cloud infrastructure.
·       Manage security tooling integrations (SIEM, EDR, and identity access management).
·       Ensure effective implementation of security baselines across IT assets.
·       Identifies and resolves problems often anticipating issues before they occur or before they grow; develops and evaluates options; and implements solutions that support the business.
·       Provides subject matter expertise in systems security policies, standards/practices, protocols, and technologies.
 
Our requirements:
 
·       A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of verifiable Information Security related experience.
·       CompTIA Security+, GIAC, OSCP or equivalent security certifications desired
·       In-depth knowledge of security tools, techniques, and methodologies. Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks.
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify potential threats.
·       Excellent understanding of attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and common security weaknesses.
·       Proven experience as a SOC analyst or threat hunter, with a strong operational security background.
Knowledge of cloud security practices and containerization concepts.
·       Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience writing monthly reports with overview of findings and high level recommendations.
MicroVision offers a flexible work schedule that could include a hybrid schedule of onsite and remote work, subject to team and business needs.  Individual work schedules will be at the discretion of management and dependent on role and business needs.  You must live and reside within commuting distance from MicroVision’s headquarters in Redmond, WA.
