What You'll Do: As a Unit Support Technician, you will work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patients and hospital operations. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with patient care under the direction of a nurse
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Greeting and assisting patients, families, and visitors
- Answering phones and performing clerical duties on patient units
- Scheduling appointments, tests, and procedures
- Managing patient records and unit documentation
- Ordering and stocking supplies and equipment
- Supporting the healthcare team with daily operations
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Interest in healthcare and patient care
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn medical terminology and healthcare procedures
