The Network Security Engineer (Juniper Deployments) will be responsible for the policy deployment of Juniper firewalls at multiple client sites. Focusing on real-time mission critical industries in the area of process control and automation systems he/she will be on the leading edge of securing and protecting vital critical infrastructures in the Manufacturing industry from cyber-attacks. This is a virtual client facing role. Please note: this role requires the ability to travel 15-20%
Primary Functions:
- Assist with the global design and deployment effort for the Juniper firewall implementation project
- Provide a lead role for subsection of global sites in creating final policy for the FW
- Responsible for maintaining customer uptime during implementing the site lockdown (permit to deny policy)
- Use syslogs for troubleshooting firewall policy issues
- Work directly with Pulse Secure NAC systems
- Apply your Knowledge of nested object groups in use for firewall policy
- Demonstrate understanding of standard 5-tuple security policy creation from a logging environment
Requirements
Requirements:
- BS in Networking, Computer, Information Systems or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years networking experience
- Strong experience with JunOS SRX and SRX clustering
- Strong experience with Juniper Space consoles
- Strong working knowledge of TCP and UDP protocols, VPNs, IDS, IPS, SIEMs, and firewall technologies
- JNCIS-SEC certification preferred
- Experience with Juniper Space platform with the Security Director application
- Understanding of NGFW technologies
