Our Glenwood Springs, Colorado office is currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician.  The Helpdesk Technician is the first point of contact for all technology support issues company wide.  The position requires a broad knowledge of technology concepts and applications and the ability to learn new platforms on demand.  In addition to strong technical skills, the Helpdesk Technician must exhibit strong intrapersonal and customer service skills.

Job Duties: 

  • Managing a helpdesk ticketing and inventory system 

  • Troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues 

  • Printer/MFP and Plotter management  

  • Imaging and computer deployment 

  • Patch Management 

  • Software license management 



Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License 

  • Previous IT/helpdesk experience and/or training 

  • Ability to translate complex technical information into layman’s terms  

  • Physically capable of performing typical IT tasks including ability to carry 50+ lbs. and maneuver around confined and otherwise difficult to access spaces 

  • Strong customer service skills 

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high stress environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills 

  • Motivated problem solver 

  • Organized and attentive to detail 

  • Ability to work long hours when needed with occasional out of town travel 

  • Strong desire to live, work, and play in Western Colorado 

Additional preferred qualifications: 

  • College Degree 

  • Technical Certifications 

  • Experience with hardware lifecycle management 

  • Low voltage wiring knowledge  

  • Audio visual expertise 

  • Network administration 

  • Cybersecurity expertise 

  • CAD/GIS/Engineering software platform experience 

  • Experience managing VDI 

  • Experience with the following platforms: Windows Server, Active Directory, MS365, MFA, Veeam/VMWare, GCP, Nasuni, AVD, Meraki, Ubiquity, Secure Endpoint, Todyl
