COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is in a collective bargaining unit.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG). The incumbent is responsible for performing the draw break operations, monitoring the systems performance during the balancing of the Lottery's Internal Control System and assisting with IT support. Duties include but are not limited to verifying that lottery games are closed; updating the website, phone line and e-mail with winning numbers; balancing sales and liabilities with the gaming system and printing reports; assisting with installing, modifying, and repairing computer software, and setting up computer peripherals for users. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Two (2) years of work experience performing related duties and responsibilities such as assisting with troubleshooting basic operating system issues related to applications, hardware and software; basic PC operations knowledge, and the ability to assist with conduct analysis and validate system data to ensure accuracy.
All applicants must be flexible as the position requires providing support in a 16X7 shift work environment. This position is categorized as Essential. Not eligible for telework. We have coverage 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Current shifts:
Day shift – 8AM-4:30PM
Mid-Day Shift – 10:00AM-6:30PM
Night Shift – 4:30PM-1AM
Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
