THE ROLE

In this role, you will be working directly with The MLCโ€™s internal desktop support team, working across the organization to streamline the imaging and deployment of The MLCโ€™s workstations. As a member of IT, you are detail-oriented and relational, focused on providing an exceptional customer experience for all internal users. You love being hands-on to solve problems, big and small, and you can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a member of The MLCโ€™s team, you will help to maintain and champion The MLCโ€™s mission while driving alignment, autonomy, and accountability across initiatives.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with PC desktop support or relevant certification(s)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize and set priorities according to situational demands
  • Familiarity with Cloud based Platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Help Desk Systems, including Remote Assistance
  • Able to work a flexible schedule up to 20 hours a week with the ability to work after normal business hours to support events

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

AS A MEMBER OF THE TECHNOLOGY TEAM, YOU WILL:
ASSIST WITH THE ASSIGNMENT AND UPKEEP OF EQUIPMENT BY:
โ€ข ย  ย Deploying laptop/desktop hardware and common peripherals in accordance with The MLCโ€™s asset management processes and procedures
โ€ข ย  ย Verifying returned equipment meets operational standards
โ€ข ย  ย Assisting with routine maintenance of MLC systems
ASSIST WITH THE MAINTENANCE, AND OPTIMIZATION OF THE MLCโ€™S OPERATIONS BY:
โ€ข ย  ย Contributing and collaboration with scheduled office organizers to assist with the ongoing use of audio and Teleconference equipment, and ensuring compliance with The MLCโ€™s standards and guidelines
โ€ข ย  ย Monitoring conference room systems and assisting in providing a stable experience for both MLC users and guests
โ€ข ย  ย Providing technical support to MLC users related to wireless and home networking, VPN, multi-factor authentication, and threat management
โ€ข ย  ย Maintaining a comprehensive and current knowledge of The MLCโ€™s technology and recommending modifications as necessary
