| Position Summary | The UNM Health and Health
Sciences IT Department is looking for a full-time, experienced IT Support
Tech 2 within the Technology Support group, that will provide IT support to
specific departments with executive level focus. Specifically, this position will provide
in person IT support to the Health Sciences Office of the Vice President.
They will cover office locations on the UNM North Campus, a location that is
just north of campus, as well as those working remotely. This
position works 100% on site. Additional
tasks include Active Directory account management, workstation troubleshooting,
diagnosis, hardware repair, workstation image deployment, encryption services,
conference room AV support, as well as software support. The ideal candidate
for this position should have a strong customer service background, experience
in workstation troubleshooting
(both over phone and in person), utilizing IT ticketing software, the ability
to manage and notate technical appointments and processes, and experience
translating intermediate technical knowledge into end users training, as
education of end users is needed daily. The UNM HSC has earned a national and international reputation for its integrated education, patient care, research, and partnership initiatives which address the unique healthcare needs of New Mexico's urban and rural populations (http://hsc.unm.edu). |
