We’re seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide front-line, on-site technical assistance to our internal teams. This position will involve providing walk-up support, managing ticketed requests, provisioning hardware, and assisting with audiovisual setups. This is an in-office role located at our corporate office in Carlsbad, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide onsite and remote support for computers, applications, printers, AV systems, and mobile devices
- Provision and configure hardware for new users, including laptops, tablets, and other office electronics
- Manage and document support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and escalate issues
- Maintain IT standards for hardware, software, and security compliance
- Support security monitoring efforts and respond to alerts and incidents
- Lift and move equipment up to 45 lbs as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of IT troubleshooting experience (networking, server/OS, desktop, virtualization), equivalent experience will be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
- Customer centric approach and demonstrated ability to provide outgoing, professional customer service to both internal and external team members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Experience in working with domain joined computers and/or Azure Active Directory joined computers
- Additional knowledge of public/private cloud environments (e.g., Azure) and virtualization technologies is a plus.
