We have an immediate opportunity for an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to join our technology team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues — providing hands-on support across hardware, software, and network systems via phone, email, and in-person. This position is geared towards individuals with a long-term outlook who want to grow a skill set into a lasting IT career.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in-person across both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows 10/11 and macOS) and business applications.
  • Manage user accounts through Active Directory including account creation, password resets, group assignments, and access provisioning.
  • Support and administer the Microsoft 365 suite including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Create, manage, and resolve support tickets using an ITSM platform; escalate complex issues to Level II/III with clear documentation.
  • Set up and configure new employee workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting including connectivity, VPN, and Wi-Fi issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and known issues to support team knowledge sharing.
  • Follow IT security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support role.
  • Proficiency with both Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Experience with Active Directory for user and group management.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
