Under general supervision, provide technical assistance to field technicians and customers via phone and software platforms. Ensure prompt handling of Help Desk calls and work orders within specified timelines. Communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner; provide one-one-one end-user training as needed; assist Field Technicians; troubleshoot network printer problems; pass more complex end-user problems on to Field Technicians; conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting; and perform related work as required.
Working Conditions: Work is generally performed in an office environment. Hours are primarily (Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm), but position requires employee to be flexible based on needs of the agency and available for any disaster or emergency situation.
Successful completion of a criminal background investigation including polygraph, reference/employment/neighborhood checks. submit to screening for illegal drug use prior to assuming position and will be subject to return to duty, post-accident and/or random and reasonable suspicion drug tests while employed with BCSO.
