In this role, youโ€™ll be the first point of contact for IT support, assisting both Team Members and Residents with their technology needsโ€”from troubleshooting computers to supporting TV, phone, and internet services across our vibrant community.

What Youโ€™ll Do

As a Level 1 Help Desk Technician, youโ€™ll play a key role in keeping our organization connected and running smoothly:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving computers, printers, software, and basic networking
  • Perform hardware repairs, replacements, and upgrades (PCs, monitors, peripherals, phones, etc.)
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and effective customer service to Team Members and Residents
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors as needed
  • Assist with onboarding and training users on basic technology use
  • Support Residents with CampusTV, CampusTel, and CampusNet services, including setup and guidance
  • Help Residents learn and use updated cable box features
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the ticketing system
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for evening and weekend coverage

What You Bring

Weโ€™re looking for someone who is technically capable, approachable, and eager to help:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or 6+ months of related experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and basic software issues
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn

Schedule & Location

๐Ÿ•’ Full-time (40 hours/week)
๐Ÿ—“ Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
๐Ÿ” Rotating on-call support (evenings/weekends)
