The House of Commons Procedural Services is currently looking to staff the IM-IT Support Specialist position.
This recruitment and selection process is restricted to the House of Commons Administration employees.
The IM-IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing advisory and support services in the delivery and maintenance of procedural and parliamentary information services, projects and business applications, including coordinating and providing incident and problem management, troubleshooting issues, systems and data integrity, testing, release and data table configuration management, security administration, training and account management.
Additionally, the incumbent advises and works with staff and managers in Procedural Services, as well as partners in other service areas and organizations, to develop appropriate business strategies for a variety of information management (IM) and information technology (IT) services and activities, performs analysis and proposes solutions for upgrades, increased functionality and efficiency and for the design or reporting tools and reports that meets client’s needs.
