Job Description

RIVO is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated IT professional to join our team as a Helpdesk Technician!

We’re searching for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering top-notch technical support and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting to resolve user problems with computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
• Support and oversee the setup and configuration of new workstations and peripherals, ensuring seamless integration into the network.
• Support end-user password management, software installations, basic and intermediate level configuration tasks.
• Install, upgrade, and configure computer hardware and software applications, coordinating with other IT teams for optimal performance as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Support and troubleshoot the full M365 suite (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), addressing advanced usage and configuration issues.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of reported problems, and maintaining high satisfaction levels among users.
• Contribute to the development and routine updating of helpdesk documentation and IT process guidelines, enhancing overall departmental efficiency. 
• Proactively identify and escalate issues as they arise, collaborating with IT department staff to ensure effective management and maintenance of IT infrastructure. 
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications

What We Look For:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree or IT/technical certifications strongly desired. 
• Prior experience or internship in a Helpdesk related role etc. strongly preferred.
• Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and common software applications. 
• Knowledge and experience with full M365 suite (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting Windows operating systems. 
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.   
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.  
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
• Strong critical thinking skills. 
• Strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you will be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job is $23.00 to $27.00 per hour. Individual salaries within those ranges takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; knowledge and skill sets; and other business and organizational needs.
