Overview

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to help shape and support enterprise security architecture across a global environment. This individual will provide technical leadership across key cybersecurity technologies and initiatives while ensuring security is effectively integrated into infrastructure, cloud, and business systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong architectural knowledge with hands-on engineering experience and a broad understanding of the security landscape. This role requires someone who can operate strategically while remaining technically engaged in the technologies and processes that protect the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity architecture strategies, standards, frameworks, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a security design authority across enterprise IT and cloud environments.
  • Evaluate, guide, and improve the effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity technologies and security controls.
  • Partner with business, technology, and risk teams to incorporate security-by-design principles into major initiatives and projects.
  • Provide architectural leadership during cybersecurity incidents and identify opportunities for long-term security improvements.
  • Communicate cybersecurity risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support security architecture reviews, threat modeling activities, and enterprise risk management initiatives.
  • Contribute expertise across security domains including identity, network, endpoint, cloud, and data protection.
  • Help drive continuous improvement across the security technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and site-based teams across multiple time zones.
  • Travel to operational or regional locations as needed.

Technical Focus Areas

The successful candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in several of the following areas:

  • Palo Alto firewall administration and architecture
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
  • Vulnerability management programs and tooling
  • VPN and remote access technologies, including GlobalProtect
  • Network security architecture and fundamentals
  • Security zoning, segmentation, routing, and zero-trust concepts
  • Identity and access management
  • Cloud security
  • Data protection and enterprise security controls

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in information security, including experience in enterprise security architecture, security engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, and IEC 62443.
  • Experience conducting threat modeling, security architecture assessments, and participating in incident response activities.
  • Demonstrated expertise across multiple cybersecurity domains, including identity, cloud, network, endpoint, and data security.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and business partners.
  • Ability to balance strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on technical work.

What We're Looking For

  • A technically curious security professional who understands how systems work beyond individual tools or products.
  • Strong depth in key security disciplines rather than surface-level familiarity across many technologies.
  • A growth-oriented mindset with a desire to continually learn and expand technical expertise.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment and build strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Leadership potential is valued, though this role may be structured either as a senior individual contributor or as a future people leadership opportunity depending on the candidate's experience and strengths.

Work Environment

  • Work closely with technology, operations, risk, and business teams in a highly collaborative global environment.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and other business partners.
  • Support both long-term strategic initiatives and time-sensitive cybersecurity response efforts.
