Cybersecurity Specialist
Location: Falls Church, VA
Clearance Level: Active DoD Secret Clearance
Summary:
3 Reasons Consulting is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to provide Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) support and ensure the security and compliance of information systems within a classified environment. Based in Falls Church, VA, this position plays a critical role in managing cybersecurity operations, enforcing enterprise policies, and supporting key reporting and configuration management tasks under DoD directives.
Services to be performed include, but are not limited to:
Provide ISSO support across enterprise systems and operations
Perform administration, data input, manipulation, and reporting using official cybersecurity tools and mechanisms
Support the operation, configuration, and review of cybersecurity-related equipment
Enforce cybersecurity governance, including:
Enterprise and Headquarters-level cybersecurity instructions
Command Security Operational Orders (OPORDs)
Task Orders (TASKORDs)
Acceptable Use Policies (AUPs)
Ensure compliance with IAT Level III and DoD cybersecurity policies and frameworks
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT discipline
Required Certification(s):
Security+
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
IAT Level III compliance
Clearance Level:
Active Secret Clearance
