This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you'll work with advanced security technologies, lead incident response efforts, strengthen security operations, and play a key role in safeguarding a growing global enterprise.

What You'll Do

Protect and Defend the Enterprise

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents across the organization.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated alerts from Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers.
• Lead incident triage, containment, remediation, and recovery efforts to minimize business risk and operational disruption.

Manage Advanced Security Technologies

• Administer and optimize a diverse portfolio of cybersecurity tools, including:
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
• Cloud Security (AWS & Azure)
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Data Protection Solutions
• Vulnerability Management Platforms
• Continuously evaluate and improve security controls to enhance organizational resilience.

Strengthen Security Operations & Processes

• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures.
• Participate in tabletop exercises and readiness assessments.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that elevate security maturity and operational efficiency.

Drive Vulnerability & Compliance Initiatives

• Coordinate network, server, cloud, and application vulnerability scanning activities.
• Work closely with IT stakeholders to prioritize remediation efforts and reduce organizational risk.
• Support compliance programs and audits aligned with frameworks such as NIST and other regulatory requirements.

Support Identity & Access Management

• Assist with user provisioning, access reviews, and identity governance initiatives.
• Help ensure secure access practices across enterprise systems and cloud environments.

Promote a Security-First Culture

• Lead cybersecurity awareness training and phishing simulation programs.
• Educate and empower employees to recognize and respond to evolving cyber threats.
• Partner with business teams to strengthen security awareness across the organization.

Mentor and Collaborate

• Provide guidance and support to junior cybersecurity professionals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, compliance, infrastructure, and business teams to drive enterprise security initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years focused on:
• Cybersecurity Operations
• Threat Hunting
• Incident Response
• Security Engineering

Certifications

• Security+ certification required (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).
• CySA+, CISSP, GIAC, or other advanced cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of:
• Incident Response and Threat Detection
• Network and Host-Based Intrusion Analysis
• Malware Analysis and Remediation
• Enterprise Security Architecture and Protocols
• Experience with:
• Windows and Linux operating systems
• Active Directory and Microsoft Intune
• Virtualization technologies
• AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Familiarity with:
• PowerShell and Python scripting
• MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• Threat Intelligence and Security Analytics Platforms
