Position Summary
The CIS/Cybersecurity Specialist will provide secure Communications and Information Systems support across architecture, engineering, integration, cybersecurity risk management, and capability-development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze cybersecurity requirements for CIS and capability initiatives.
- Support secure architecture and systems engineering.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk and technical-control assessments.
- Address identity, access, network, endpoint, cloud, application, and data security.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities, threats, controls, and residual risks.
- Incorporate cybersecurity requirements throughout design, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Support secure interoperability and information exchange.
- Review technical designs for cybersecurity implications.
- Develop risk assessments, technical recommendations, and cybersecurity documentation.
- Coordinate with NATO security stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of cybersecurity, information-assurance, or CIS-security experience.
- Demonstrated security architecture, engineering, assessment, or operational experience.
- Strong knowledge of network, identity, endpoint, cloud, application, and data security.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity risk-management and security-control frameworks.
- Required citizenship and security clearance.
Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CASP+/SecurityX, CCSP, GIAC, or equivalent; NATO CIS/security experience; DoD RMF, NIST, Zero Trust or STIG experience; multinational or coalition-environment experience.
