The IT Support Project Associate is a crucial member of our IT team based in Tifton, GA, and is responsible for supporting all aspects of the company's IT program. This role involves direct interaction with end users, coordinating resolutions with key partners, and managing vendor relationships. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle various tasks related to IT support and strategic projects. This role also includes opportunities to lead mini-projects and contribute to the execution of broader company initiatives.



Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Provide IT support across all company departments, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Interact directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems.
  • Coordinate with external partners to address and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of quality IT services and products.
  • Support the execution of company-wide strategic projects, contributing technical and logistical support.
  • Lead mini-projects as assigned, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, software, and hardware.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of company data and IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, systems, and projects.
  • Pursue training and development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Travel overnight to company sites as required, providing on-site IT support.
  • Ensure compliance with all company IT policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and projects as needed.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of an associate's degree.
  • 1-3 years of relevant IT support experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to critical and systems thinking.
  • Experience in customer service or technical support roles.
  • Strong typing skills
Experience Preferred
  • Experience in customer service or technical support roles.
  • Relevant IT certifications or training.
  • Experience with IT project management or participation in strategic initiatives.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
  • Experience working with IT partners and vendors.
  • Basic understanding of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.

Additional Requirements

Work Hours
  • This is an hourly position, typically from 9:00 am  6:00 pm.
